So I played Bass for the first time in my life in front of a Crowd

Well minor correction, unless you are Joe Dart playing in Paris and entire crowds know your bass line note for note by heart, you can’t screw that up or you’d get mobbed. :rofl:

Man!! You have straight up my dream 5-string bass (right next to the BB5000 xD). Man that’s so awesome, what a beauty!

It’s so hard to get the white one here in Germany, especially new. Only the black version. :frowning:

I better make sure I did, or else I would have gotten some ass whooping at home lol. She’s my lady :joy:

Whatever you do don’t get the black one. It’s not your typical black bass. It’s a piano black finish that’s a Mega fingerprint magnet especially if you use ant kind of finger grease, just don’t ask me how I know :rofl:

Killing it man, did not look like a first time at all.

Haha thanks for the heads up. I guess you don’t have to worry about it as I’m, a sucker for white basses anyways :rofl: :raising_hands:

@Bowske

Wow! I am really envious. What a great experience. It makes me wish even more that I had started this long ago. At almost 78 there aren’t many (if any) in my community or relationships that would join in on something like that. Who knows - miracles happen. Consider yourself really really fortunate. I’ll be happy with youtube covers for now.

Nice bass face.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Well done, that sounds so underrated but it’s not meant to be.

Congratulations.

Cause this is a really great thing! I thoroughly enjoyed that video clip. Great playing, looking cool too … and @TheMaartian is right … the singer fancies you (and/or your playing). Couldn’t get any better for a first gig!

That’s wild!

I’m glad that the first time I played bass, it was in the privacy of my own home. :winking_face_with_tongue:

@bukbass
Hey man appreciate your words!

Well I’d definitely say it’s never too late, considering there are a bunch of gentlemen in my city, that definitely have whitnessed more time than I did and they are seen regularly rocking their asses off at pretty much all sessions, in and out of town lol! Looking forward seeing you jamming with a bunch of people soon! :wink:

And thx for the bass face compliment haha :joy:

I love reading posts like this :slight_smile: So cool and great job!

It is a certain type of feeling that’s extremely awesome on stage.

Hell, it’s gotta be good if I can accept my fear of it and still do it anyway!

You’re enthusiasm is rubbing off well :slight_smile:
