Greetings,
Hound Dog, we got a 12 bar I, IV, V blues chord Progression. here’s my take. Decided to show my Fat Ass I mean my Ugly Mug, LOL.
Just throwing this out there hopefully with Covid coming to an end, and things getting somewhat back to Norm. Maybe we need more time between songs. I myself we be getting out more. Don’t know just seems like fewer people are posting videos. My 2 cents.
Back to Hound Dog, I had a little blunder at end of the song. I don’t think I’ll be doing, more full videos of myself. LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4GdaTaezCM&loop=0
Nice Job @BigAl, I like the modern bass on the old tune!
Well played, good groove.
I might have to agree with you on the longer times.
I am still on Highway to Hell but have been trying to put together some other covers too so slowing over here. Hoping I catch up this week in full
I am definitely falling behind. Life just isn’t allowing me a lot of bass playing time. I’ve worked on HtH - just not ready for prime time yet. I haven’t even started Folsom Prison Blues.
The only real thought I have on timing is that 100 weeks is a long time to run a challenge already. 50 months would be … a bit insane. However, I also worry about being able to tackle the medium/hard songs, if I can’t even get the easy ones in 2 weeks.
I’m hoping that in the not too distant future, I’ll be able to focus more time on it and get caught up. In the meantime, I enjoy seeing the takes that do get posted…
its not a race, either catch up when you can, or just jump in at the current song, nothing to be worrying about, you have to take care of life issues first, bass issues unfortunately have to come 2nd
This is true. We have start dates in the challenge, not end dates. Feel free to take as long as you need. Skip songs if you want. Whatever floats your boat.
Nice job @BigAl,
if i was going to be super picky id say you have a tiny little bit of fret buzz with your pinky finger sometimes, but besides that nice tone, nice coloured bass and nice to see full screen video, you rock,
Cheers Brian
Thanks for feedback. Not to make any excuses but I have nerve damage to my my left hand. That why I post so people can tell me what I need more practice at or need to improve on. Thanks again do appreciate.
