Staff notation is kind of bad - notational perspective

There’s a very strong body of evidence that the language you speak influences how you voice your thoughts, ad consequently how you think, because you think in terms of that language as well. Now, it’s not a directly causative, deterministic thing, but there is definitely an influence or bias therein.

I would believe this. There are times I can pick out the first language of an author by how they structure sentences in English.

But…it could also be that a person is influenced by the musical language of their country. You can see this in groups like Lovebites and Band Maid who are so Japanese in how they structure songs
