Something happened to the forum yesterday it was nearly frozen almost all day.
I like the Katana 110 especially for beginners for so many reason.
If you can get one at discount as they are often do, then it’s awesome, getting it used is usually ok too. It’s a good sounding amp with tons of feature and some I’ll point it out later.
It’s plenty loud and you can use for a gig too. At one of my weekly gig, there are one each the 110 and 210, the 110 is plenty and we play it loud. I often use the 210 but it’s not the reason you’d think, simply it’s just the perfect height for my iPad and drink, 
Why I think it it’s good for beginners? It’s great as is you have plenty of features and effects to work with right out of the box and when not if, you have the urge to upgrade, you can simply add the Bluetooth dongle first, it’s like $50 then your amp just doubles in value as it gives you connectivity to your device and access to a boat load of customizable effects, and these are Boss effects. This will keep you busy for a while. All I have to do at a gig is to bring my Dongle (now I have extra one in my Gig bag) bolt it on and it’s now “my amp” Still have upgradetitis?
Well you can add the multiple foot switch, that Boss call it GA-FC. there’s 2 flavors, not necessarily old and new. I have both the original and the EX, I mostly use the original simply because, it’s what I’m used to. This will let you set preset for at least 8, I barely made 4 as I normally only use 2. You can connect 2 of these together but you’ll need to see someone about this if you need more than 1 GA-FC switches on a gig. But Wait! there’s more! You can also connect the expressive pedal to it as a Wah controller or simple Volume control. You can also choose the wireless route and go with FS-W1L and call it a day.
The most compelling reason that I think it’s a great product is the fact that since its debut, there’s only been one version of 110 and 210. No EX model, no Gen1, Gen 2 and Gen 3, or Artist model. It’s rock solid and feature pack enough.
Yes! I’m a fan but not a fanboi of the Katana as my daily drive is my Genzler amp 3x the price tag, but I just love the simplicity of the Katana
I now have one at home and one at my restaurant, plus a couple of the Boss Katana Guitar amps. lemme know if you have any questions,

So the one that I found close never replied so o went searching for another one. Little further dive but same amp with the blue tooth adapter for $350. Offered $285 and he accepted!

Oh yes! that’s good man.
yeah sure if you just want to test the speaker just connect to the bluetooth and play some song. Pick some Joe Dart songs it’s mostly bass forward
I like this because of speed. If the cab is blown it should show up
This is also a good test song because it’s full range

And don’t forget to twiddle the knobs, listening for fuzz and whatnot. If there is some, it may not be important, and is likely inexpensive to fix, but AFAIK it’s a good thing to do when evaluating any used amp.

I triple stacked my Genzler and the first time I did that the volume was at 4, standing about 15 feet away, it almost made my ears bleed.

Not a blip here. No mention of an issue by anyone else, either. 
It was likely local on your end — your browser needing a relaunch, or your device needing a reboot.
Glad it’s fixed, though. 
Same, I was on and off all day and never noticed anything wonky.
we always see all your basses but if i’ve ever seen your amps i don’t remember it. i have always been of the opinion that if i was going to spend serious money on amps and cabs again the very first one i would look at is those genzlers, they just seem like something that is really well thought out and crafted, and i’ve never heard a bad word about them.

I have the Genzler Magellan Preamp pedal, and I love it.
If I were upgrading my amp, I’d definitely lean toward Genzler.

Yeah I love the “neutral” approach of Genzler. It has no “Signature” tone, just your bass tone, which fits me very well it’s all the basses waiting to shine.
I was a flying Gallen Krueger flag for a very long time, I had what’s now the legacy series. I also love the Bergantino Amp I got to play at @booker_t ‘s place, but wait there’s more it’s not a combo just cab. Sitting on top is the Demeter head, so f’ing good and he has 2. 
it would take a few visits to get to know all of them.
