The Most Impressive SLAP Riffs? (help me!)

Hey forum friends! Are you up for a little slap bass rating adventure?

I’m working on a video about the slap riffs people find the most impressive.

So your mission: find a non-bassist friend or family member to be your guinea pig. They’ll take about 20 minutes to watch a video of Josh playing a bunch of slap riffs, and they’ll rate them all from “impressive” to “blegh”. And if they’re willing, they’ll also record themselves listening/rating on webcam(so we can see people’s reactions), and answering a couple quick questions at the end.

You can be in the room helping your guinea pigs with playing/pausing the video, but people can also do it remotely on their own.

Glad you had fun with it Chris! It was crazy trying to play 50 slap riffs in the same recording session without making a mess. :stuck_out_tongue:

McAfee think it’s Scammingly good!!!

I think it picks up things it recognises from somewhere else, which is why it only seems to recognise riffs that are the main thing playing in a song at the time!

Made me chuckle :smiley:

Lol, I guess that’s a good sign that I played the riffs well enough. Apparently a ‘cover’ is a ‘deepfake’ in McAfee :stuck_out_tongue:
