You’re too kind: that bass hates the world.
I am liking it more and more
I’m confident that if I stayed on top of my tetanus booster shots, it could become my go-to bass…
@MikeC what’s the source of this pic? I feel like I need to know more. There are aspects I don’t like but there’s a few parts I’m intrigued by
Here you go, Jesse. It’s an extremely unique bass built from a single piece of Maple. You can move the pup in a ton of positions, and can even slap on additional pups.
…or Derek Smalls
Derek didn’t have this kind of bread. Or stature.
same aesthetic sense though
Aww now the whole band can play together
This dude has a lot of baggage.
And likely junk in the trunk.
When he plays too loud, people call the valise.
But when he makes his case, he keeps it brief.
That said, at least his bass packs a punch.
With all that luggage I bet he plays for Blues Traveler
Why airport baggage handlers shouldnt bring their work home with them.
Once again.
This is the only thread I acknowledge as a thread for gorgeous and worthy basses.
My god, this thing is a legend.
Take me into the laboratories of these insane, anti-aesthetic mad-bass-scientists!!
No @Gio , how can you like it? I feel sorry for it!
Better jump the flux capacitor on your Delorean, man.
This hunk of nightmare fuel is from 1986. For real.
Dunno.
My eye and heart attach to the weird and unique, methinks.
@MikeC - this is appropriate, as I just watched Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure with my family last night. The kids were confused culturally, but the charm of Bill S. Preston Esquier and Ted Theodore Logan is universal, turns out.
And that’s totally fair enough It’s nice to know there really is someone for every thing.
