Just don’t get too bogged down in playing perfectly. The key is to keep moving forward in the course. You can always go back and redo the faster speed exercises for example. Don’t stress about muting, etc. These things are icing on the cake and can be learned later. Have fun and keep playing.

Don’t worry too much about keeping up any particular pace in learning the bass. It is perfectly okay to take breaks from it now and then. Trust me 
I have gone over several parts of the course at various times as I work on areas that need some improvement.
