I’ve listened back and I can’t seem to spot any glaring errors, apart from where I left a gap going into the chorus but I’m sure there are ;)…but then again, I only listened to the song a handful of times before recording it, where I did a lot more takes in the other songs. Not mad on this song tbh so I’ll probably just put this one to bed for now and crack on with the next one.

Sounds good, other than the volume difference.
Maybe it’s time for a set up. you shouldn’t need a compressor for that.
If you like to fiddle try to adjust your pickup height, but if you’re not into those things just get it to your local store, should be an easy enough fix.

I really don’t like this song that much. However, I intent on trying every song as there is always something to take home. This one was good for staying on time, as the consistency and repetitiveness is a big part of the feel of the song.
