Well this is a different sound for them
Listening to it more, the last lines Babymetal sings are
We love all the music,
We love all the music,
Everyday, anytime
This is like a mission statement from Babymetal, that limiting yourself to or from music genres is just limiting yourself from music.
Here Is What I Just Listened To
I completely forgot about this exercise - Give it a rip & enjoy your weekend

Um… the Zoom B1 Four “70s Soul” rhythm at 100 BPM, and my playing of the exercise that @JoshFossgreen posted last week. That’s what I’m listening to.
If you haven’t heard of The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, they are a criminally underrated and under-famous band. They have a sound very similar to the Ramones but the majority of their songs revolve around Lovecraft stories and such…except with a sense of humor.
One of my absolute favorite bands. I’ve been listening to them since Let Sleeping Gods Lie, the CD that was released to support Wizards of the Coast’s D20 release of the Call of Cthulhu RPG, which I still have a copy of. That and the Spaceship Zero RPG, which was written by DOTHT (specifically Toren “MacBin” Atkinson) for their Spaceship Zero album.
Although… I must confess, I haven’t given The Dukes of Alhazred its due. Probably because I don’t actually have that on CD, it was an iTunes purchase.
While in Nashville this week I stopped at Third Man Records (Jack White’s label). Super cool place to check out with mostly music I never heard of but I asked some advice and picked some just because of the covers, this is one of them, Olivia Jean (Jack is her husband). It’s fantastic!!!
Here’s the whole album, which I’m finding is great top to bottom.
I didn’t know he remarried. I knew he and Meg were amicable but split though.
Bit of a resemblance (guess he has a type) lol.
That was my first reaction yeah
“The blues started when Adam met Eve. The blues is about a man, a woman, a broken heart and a broken home. You know what I mean.” John Lee Hooker
I guess technically it started with Lilith then, not Eve
Well yeah, but I ain’t going to tell John Lee he’s wrong.
That guy has a great and inspiring way about him. Thanks for sharing wombat!
