I’ll have to and listen to the whole album again. It’s been forever.
Another funky lady bassist!

To get the lyrics down, this, as the Scorps were big during my formative years. Either this or the Stray Cats will be my next vocals cover. (edited to add the full version)
I don’t recall if I have posted this here before (I don’t think I did.) It is one of my favorite covers of one of my favorite Beatles songs. I have read a lot about that it is not really clear if it was Paul or John playing the VI:
Here is a good documentary on the bass on HS:
I can’t remember if I’ve posted this already, but it has a hell of a groove
Excellent song! Lebanese Blonde is my all-time favorite hash. There was a moving Thursday night “market” in Augsburg in 1971 when I was stationed there. I wore local clothes and spoke only German. Sellers walked one direction on the park path along the river under two bridges and buyers walked the opposite direction. The blonde came in via Yugoslavia. A kilo cost the equivalent of US$200 in West German Marks. I kept a quarter key (a freaking $50 bargain) and moved the rest. U.S. troops were not welcome. The blonde was a fantastic zippity-do-da high. Loved it! Thanks for resurrecting those memories.
The sound of my HVAC system pushing air through the vents. The woosh of air, a low rumble from the system up in the attic. ![]()

Those were the times! Some stuff was good enough to have songs written about it, and that Thievery tune has always been in my play list. In college, in south Florida back in the day, I had a good friend we called “the pipeline to Colombia”. We were all artists in college, and living a good life. I went from that into the USAF, where I served for 22 years; talk about contrasts. : )
That song is in my Amazon playlist, before that in my Pandora playlist, and also in my Youtube playlist, and yet I’ve never seen this video. What a cool studio. Thanks for sharing it!
What a wild lineup. The Scream Tour or something like that. I didn’t have the chance to go to that one. Must have been an awesome show.
