Technical Death masters from Kansas.
That bassist, Mike Flores,… Man, how the human being can pluck like that - both speed- and precision-wise?

Cover of Allen Woody’s bass solo during the Allman Brothers’ “Elizabeth Reed”.
Nice cover of a funky Italo-Disco bassline.
The Young Gods, no longer young, formed in Geneva, Switzerland in 1985. Truly influential. Guitar, synth and drums.
Fami needs to work on her bass face
New from Kyary Pamyu Pamyu
Kyary hasn’t released new music in some time so good to see it.
@Whying_Dutchman Here’s an early Nina Hagen I’ve never seen before, when she was almost normal. What a talent!
That’s why she is the favorite singer of my favorite chancellor (Angela Merkel).
Nina Hagen (and her Mother) were famous in East Germany - long before Nina became punk.
Fun fact: after Nina went to the west she met Herman Brood, our first and only Dutch (real) Rocker … and had a relationship with both him and his guitar player. Not with his bass player.
They also made a bad movie together:
Even Lene Lovich plays in it. Those were the times…
I made it, just barely, through the first 10 minutes. I’m going to have to watch it in 10 minute chunks, methinks. So far, on a scale of 0 to 10, I rate it -1. Here’s another -1 film, Plan 9 From Outer Space by the one and only Ed Wood.
Plan 9 wraps around from maximally bad all the way back to awesome.
been getting into chic lately. i don’t think i’d ever heard this song until i started digging into their discography, but it’s quickly become one of my favourites by them. great bassline.
with Sean Hurley on bass…
Some truly epic basslines!
Mythmaker is underrated
It really is. I still think Greater Wrong is better.
I had just stopped doing the goth thing around when this album came out. I was pretty anti anything like that for a few years, so I wasn’t paying attention when mythmaker hit.
They are all good, except Process. And it is fitting that that one is so broken.
