What flats?

For flats, I too enjoy the LaBella’s!! However, NOT on all of my bass’s…. But, for flats, they are the best that I have tried so far….

Amen, I am trying out MJC (Michael J Connoly) Ironworks rounds. The guy is super cool, super nice small business man and so far I like his rounds on a couple of my basses. Also am trying out LaBella’s RX rounds in SS and Nickel, tbd on those. I do like to support them as they are in my hometown. Not a big Ernie Ball string fan, but did keep them on my MM because, well, they sound good there, and that bass was designed with those strings in mind so I am leaving well enough alone.

I also just put tapes (La Bella again) on one bass just for some variety.

@EddieJones
I have GHS Precision Flats. They have a beautiful, warm tone. I have a P-clone, and the sound is most reminiscent of thick, velvety chocolate. That said, if I want to rock out a bit, I really have to crank the treble. I also set my action really low, so that I can get them to clank if I need some bite.
