I’ve been GAS free bass wise for a bit. I really like the ones I have, introducing a new one in… I’d worry that it wouldn’t get played much because I tend to rotate through 2 of the ones I’ve got 99% of the time. That said… I’ve been itching for an L-2000 for some unknown reason the past couple of months.

I’m probably consolidating back down to two basses again, and I am probably going to have a tough talk with my Revstar. This is problematic because it just means I’ll buy a 5th one at some point.

nope, I mean I could leave it on the rack.

I just have this thing where gear I am not using bugs me. I am actually in an optimal situation to play it right now in fact, but I am just finding no further urge recently. It’s the weirdest thing but after reaching a certain point I just haven’t had any urge at all to play guitar. Part of this is probably going deeper back in to synths though.

Looked at one of those used late winter this year; guy was a ‘slapper’ and had beaten the frets off of it.

I played a custom 2000 about a year ago and it was the nicest bass (to play) that I’ve ever had in my hands. Hopefully the tribute is even half that nice.

I hope I won’t spend to much time tinkering with sound or ending up not noticing bad playing if it’s possible to hide that with effects . Didn’t like that I had to change batteries with the vox one all the time and I hope the new one will sound better with headphones
