What VPN do you use...?

I’ve been using Hide.me for about 10 years now. A tech savvy friend suggested it and had some great arguments why I should go with hide.me. I’m don’t remember what they were but it made me decide to get a lifetime subscription. And it has been working great.

OP here, just a quick update:
I tried Nord with their free-trial, but did not like it too much.

I’m sure it is a more than competent VPN, but trying to get used to and navigating it was problematic for me. I guess I wanted it “out-of-the-box” to be running to my expectations without wanting to dial it in.

The biggest frustration was trying to get it dialed in so as to not block my local (American) football team… now that the Denver Donkeys (aka, Broncos) are doing well this year, I have been tuning in! but I could not find a way to get it to allow the transmission. The only way I could watch the games was to turn off Nord VPN.

I ended up renewing Norton. I am used to how it functions… plus they gave me ridiculous renewal rates. I re upped for 2 year at less than half the price I was currently paying.

Thanks to everyone who replied.

Even setting it to the Denver server? I don’t have any problems with watching Avs games online and I run Nord on my Apple TV and desktop and can watch from both.

That’s the thing, I was trying to figure out all these area/ region settings while in the first quarter… while missing the game. I turned the VPN off to at least watch it. I took the following week to try and learn all the idiosyncrasies, but could not get it to work for the next week’s game!

I tried both versions during the trial periods and ended going with the Norton- mostly because I am familiar with its format… and it was so cheap with offers they were tossing out!

…hey, how 'bout them Avs against the Blues the other day! Number 400 and 401 for McKinnon… would have been great if he also got a hat trick!

Nate actually smiled for the pictures after the game holding that #400 puck. Nate almost never smiles. I think the last time he did was at the cup parade in ‘22. This year is nuts, at this point I just want them to keep playing well enough to stay comfortably in first, and for everyone to stay healthy going into the playoffs. The regular season is great and all but we’re going to have to beat Dallas at some point to get back to the cup, and we haven’t been able to do that (even this year).

IMO can’t go wrong with Nord or Proton
