Hey guys it has been a bit hit and miss the last few weeks. am in the process of moving and so unfortunately my practice has taken a battering along with courses for work. I had hoped to have module 8 completed but to no avail. trying to sort through stuff to dispose of in one property and pack stuff at another, by the end of teh day i’m pooped ! so Greta has been deserted, So PamPurrs im still here in spirit if not body.

Ok, so my activity on the forum has decreased recently and I know there are quite a few women participating but as I was browsing through the 50 First Songs 100 Week Challenge and compared the song threads to all the wonderful ladies mentioned in Women on Bass, I felt like there was a bit of a gap, forum-wise. So I’d just like to encourage everyone, especially women, to join in the fun and the lovely community that has been forming around the 50 first songs. It is a really great way to get out there for the first time. And really absolutely nobody bites.

The 50 songs challenge is a great way for the new Bad Asses to get out there, and I especially love seeing all the ladies involved. It’s not my cuppa tea, but I certainly support you all for doing it.

Hiya ladies & gents.
well it never rains but it pours!!!
okay since i last posted on heer i have had 2 Five month tours of duty.
trying to decorate an old property whilst on lockdown
awaiting probate because of covid and being cheated out of my inheritance.
and lastly my dad passed away recently.
so things have got a bit on top of me and although i had my squier with me sm getting back into my bass playing.
Greta and my amp are getting a going over and have reversed a chapter. so here we go again and hopefully this time i can get to hank williams.
am looking forward to the new ariane capp book also.
