There are so many other things I would spend 250k on than an ugly bass. I agree though if I were a billionaire I’d buy it make sure there was an extensive article written about it. Then play a roof top set on a multi story high rise and drop it over the side just to shock the hell out of everyone there. Haha
Ritter makes some incredible looking, gorgeous instruments. Sadly, this gaudy thing is not one of them IMO.

Well I wonder how much of the price is based on the raw materials alone. If that’s near the market price I would even say this bass could be a good investment?
I’d buy it, get a bunch of famous people to play it live, auction it off, and buy instruments with the proceeds to donate to students in need.
Just looking, and not reading, I would have said that was s Tele Bass.
Based on headstock, pick up and control plate, but what do I know.
The Early Tele basses look so much like early P hasses its hard to distinguish.

I’ve never seen price for that one but this similar bass with lights was around $10K.
