On a Dingwall you may need to play to know if you are ok with the fan fret and how it feels. Some thing more standard especially like Warwick which almost all 4 string would feature 1.5” at the nut and 20” radius it’s safe to buy sight unseen when it comes to build quality.
I ordered my Wyn earlier this year and won’t get to touch it until delivery but I have no doubt that it would be nothing less than perfection. Although, my friend is trying to broker a deal for a thousand if he can take my place (my bass) and I get to start over so his client can get a Wyn at practically no wait. It’s tempting because that either mean I get the bass for 20% off or at the same original price I can max out the features.
It’s not like I’m in immediate need of another 5 string,
