Could be slash chords, where playing the note behind the slash “sounds better” (and is intended to be played by the bass), rather than the root.

For me, it’s an occupational “hazard”… I need to correct a lot of English reports and article drafts, and I have students with dyslexia who have problems with “which” and “witch” etc.
