5-string high-C flatwound

Has anyone found a good solution for a flatwound string set for a standard(long) scale bass with 5 strings EADGC?

Willing to buy a 6 string set and not use the B but even that seems hard to find.

Or is there a good flatwound high C sold as a single string you like?

If you are going for the EADGC, wouldn’t roundwounds be a better idea (to retain the higher harmonics and brighter tone?)

Yeah unless you hate rounds I would suggest trying them first

I hate round wounds and i would still suggest round wounds for that :slight_smile:
