A/B Y box suggestions

I’m looking to use one bass and switch between amps. Ideally I need to have A, B, and A+B … I think many of them can do that.

Any suggestions?
Noise?
Will I need TRS cables? Or standard instrument cables?

a lot of models exist. you will need only standard instrument cables. my advice will be to avoid passive ABY boxes and choose only an active one, for an output impedance concern (especially when you’re in the Y mode obviously).

Thanks. I’m looking at a lot of them…lots of reviews are talking about buzzing, and noise. I’m still on the hunt, but I suspect the active models may kill some of the noise.

That one looks nice. Simple, but with cool extras - the level-matching thing seems really smart.

If I ever need one I would probably get the Boss LS-2:

but that’s because I would be using it to send/blend effects chains, not split to amps. Which it would also work for, but is overkill and an AB/Y like yours is more appropriate.
