I 100% agree with the moral side.

I just say that it has also a very practical side for music development as a whole.
It enforces succesful artists and potially kills beginning artists (who might be at the start of some musical revolution otherwise)…

Thanks for the replies!
Consider an artist or author who donates proceeds to charity. In that case the offender is stealing from the poor and others in need.
Then there is the self esteem which is damaged by the characterization of “thief”.

Alright, here’s your opportunity for an “I told you so”, Chris.
So I just acquired a Katana Go. It rocks. It will be my practice amp. Streaming ripped tracks from a mobile device will be standard operating procedure.
