It’s funny, cause … well, it’s funny … and if you read this article, you’ll find other reasons too (as in: promoting drugs by not knowing how to communicate to kids):

OMG. Ad agency fail. Even worse than Nancy Reagan’s “Just Say No” campaign. When I was on the Village Board in Winfield, IL in the late ‘80s, we even had to get our police department engaged in that campaign, visiting children in their schools and trying to scare the bejeezus out of them.
The most common question from the kids was “what are ‘drugs’?” After the police explained, the kids replied “oh, that stuff that mom and dad smoke.”

I had my first 2 Yamaha’s (TRBX 174 then BB300) and a Gretsch short scale by the time I finished B2B. Think I got my first Reverend shortly after. I was pretty sure that I was set long term, I own 1 of those 4 still.

Yeah, I own none of them, and did not before I lost all my goods.
I bought snd sold probably around 40 or more basses in the first 2 years.
Offer up is great for that.
It was great fun and an excellent learning experience.
