Yes! It’s all a matter of perspective and relativity.
It’s not just a plus; it’s a requirement for survival in these quarters.
LOL yes, table stakes really
Well, bright side is i now know how far I’m willing to go to find the funny…
Deal me in.
Well this is music related, and fun, but not the norm for this thread, but wasn’t sure where else to put it.
My daughter got to be the opening act last night for The Clancy Brothers (Irish Band that has spanned a few generations now) with her dance academy.
First video is one of the bits of the opening act (she’s far right).
Second video - the band asked the girls at the last minute to come and do encores during their encore (missed the first few seconds where my kid comes flying across the stage, cause she was going at light speed).
@John_E Very nice!
I just happened to come across a new (2022) Irish dance special on public television over this past weekend, "Irish Dance - Steps of Freedom." It’s well worth a viewing if you can find it broadcasting in your area (and can tolerate the fundraising breaks).
Years ago I saw Riverdance, and that was a great show (the first appearance of Riverdance was during the interval at Eurovision in 1994, hosted by Ireland that year). Its part in Irish dancing history is covered in the PBS program.
I hope your daughter will keep up with her Irish dancing!

Thanks. She loves it. Her instructor (the guy clapping) spent a few years as lead of Lord Of The Dance. He’s the real deal. She’s got her sights set on touring with them one day.
just killing it, amazing. in front of some living legends too. the chieftains used to bring 2 girls and 2 guys on tour with them as dancers and it was frickin amazing, really adds to the show.
that awkward moment when you realize Korg owns Spector, Darkglass, and Aguilar, so now Alex Webster of Cannibal Corpse is a Korg artist XD
Korg is breaking out in to all kinds of services as well. Here in Japan they provide support for a whole lot of brands, including Warwick.
This may be a distributorship thing. It’s something on Korg USA’s website and, for example, does not mention Warwick. I ran into it of off Darkglass’ website. It also mentions Waldorf, which is kind of amusing.
What would be mind blowing is if there were cases where they supported Roland
Bassist Poliana Magalhães
(I know someone from Portugal, and they speak Portuguese in Brazil, so I will ask her )
Edit All I got was “I’ve never known an English speaking person who could pronounce our names correctly the first try XD”

What Doug from Darkglass said about Korg:
Nah, we do what we want, how we want, when we can. A distributor doesn’t have agency over what products we make or how we build them.
Korg will simply help us have a more significant presence in the country and improve service.
So far they have been a pleasure to deal with, very professional and helpful to us.
They owning Spector opened some interesting opportunities, we are developing a custom onboard preamp for one of their new Euro series
I serious didn’t knew this and I also didn’t knew there is a Euro Spector with a DG preamp lol
Yeah, it shows up on Korg USA but not other Korg sites, ie Korg just distributes their products in the US.
It’s still a funny thought to me though XD
