A little music related fun

And it was recorded in one day at the studio. In, out, 11 hours to make a classic

And didn’t Tom Stoltz write and perform the entire thing himself? Basically hired a band when he needed it to be performed live?

I thought Brad Delp did vocals. Don’t know for certain

I mis-spoke a little - yes, on the record it’s the band. but I think Tom did it all by himself prior to bringing in the band…

Brad Delp did do vocals @Wombat-metal ,
And it is one of the classic all time great albums,

Yes @skydvr ,
Tom did record all parts while he was working at Polaroid, and at the time disco was king and they didn’t think the album would be a success.
They were wrong:woozy_face::woozy_face:
There is not one song on the album that I don’t like.
Third stage is also a very good album, Amanda, Holly ann, to be a man, still in love & I think I like it/ cantcha say are the best picks on it.
Cheers Brian

one of my fave movies of all time, and one of my favorite jokes in it was the double-necked 4 string bass which i always believed was two of the same basses, hence the joke. and so i was supremely bummed out when i recently found out the upper one is actually an 8 string? which once you know it you can kind of see it in the pictures.

There sure seem to be a whole lot of strings on that thing that won’t ever be played, at least not in any conventional way. :man_shrugging:
