The way he was itching his nose maybe he was doing “absolutely barbaric” things backstage before the show

Very cool. People need to have way more fun with music.

I’m going to close my eyes and pretend he’s telling me to become a bassist. “The world needs more bassists” :star_struck:

The album I rediscovered during COVID with the single Chick Magnet, whose bassline made me buy a bass and sign up for B2B.

I’m in no way a Billy Joel fan, by any means, but this writer is at least as insufferable in his too-cool-for-school smugness and condescension as is the subject of his monumental ire.

This quote from his sanctimonious screed fits it, and him, to a T:

Both a self-righteous contempt for others and the self-approbation and self-congratulation that is contempt’s backside, so to speak. Most frequently a contempt for the supposed phoniness or inauthenticity of other people as opposed to the rock-solid authenticity of (this writer).

Alright, writer-boy, you don’t dig Billy Joel. Got it. I’m sure he’ll sob into his pillow at your disdain rain.

In case it’s not obvious, this article should not be taken completely seriously. He’s writing that way for a reason.
