I was thumping in the basement at 500W after dinner and magically my parents had to get back to their hotel early.

Years ago when I saw Machine Head on tour, they were selling a guitar at the merch table for a few grand.
The next morning when the wife asked how much I spent on merch, I told her that I saved a few grand on merch by not buying that guitar.
