Not music related but still fun…
Soooo, the Dutch may love their cows but Aussies love lamb; not sheep, that is for Kiwis.
Australia Day is coming up our national celebration of drinking on the beach and burning meat.
Every year the Lamb People put out an ad, it is eagerly anticipated and one of our yearly highlights (take from that what you will)
For your edification and viewing pleasure, here is this year’s submission.
This is a really cool podcast:
I love this
Figured you’d be Hooked.
So close to truth its scary ( but hilarious AF!! LOL
)
Bauhaus?
no someone more electronic
They’ve got a similar sort of vibe as Lebanon Hanover imo.
Yeah vibe-wise for sure. Vocals are different though.
Amazing timing btw as I was just listening to Gallowdance like 5 mins ago
For sure. She Wants Revenge is a bit more LA, Lebanon is more pre wall coming down east Germany.
Yeah. I think they are actually reminding me of some Russian darkwave I heard on Yami Spechie’s channel.
Curious how the Gin Blossoms and Weezer are “horney”
I’d also swap Blur and the Pumpkins in terms of sadness
I don’t actually know that I’d swap necessarily. I’d maybe move the Pumpkins a little over to sad side a bit. I think Blur is pretty good where they’re at. Outside of a few of their hits (girls and boys / song 2) they had a definite pessimistic and sullen streak to them (death of a party / the universal). They did have more groove than I think people gave them credit for though.
I got a kick out of how the Foo Fighters were dead center … LOL
Pumpkins definitely sad, their happy songs simply sound like Billy found D’Arcy’s stash
Thinking of stuff like Disarm here for the sad side
