Ahh the annual “we are still a massive joke” RHOF inductee list.
yup.
I’ve visited exactly ONE Hall Of Fame in my life, the Hockey HOF in Toronto. I was fortunate to be there during the one month/year that the real Stanley Cup is in residence. Gave me goosebumps. Still does.
To bring this full circle back to music:
I went to the R&R HOF years ago when it first opened. I was embarrassed for them. Was terrible. I’m sure the exhibits are probably better by now, but the induction philosophy is total crap. If your in Cleveland, hit Cedar Point and the zoo instead.
All my teams are doggy dog this year. Closest to being contenders are the Avs and they just got beat up.
Before I moved to France, I was a season ticket holder of the Phoenix/Arizona Coyotes, so I know your pain. Now, they’ve moved on. The Utah Hockey Club. Someone dug deep in the hat to pick that name out. But, hey, maybe next year! 
Just rebrand to the popular music hall of fame at this point.
Not having Iron Maiden becomes a bigger joke every year.
This is 90 minutes west of Cleveland just to set expectations, but a must visit if you like roller coasters.
We also have one of the top three orchestras in the US, an encyclopedic art museum with free entry that’s incredible, and the densest theater district outside Broadway with incredible art Deco buildings among many other cool places.
A former employer had our employee appreciation party at the rock Hall once and it was really really cool for that.
Didn’t they just ask to stop being nominated? Think I saw something about that.
I’m happy that the White Stripes got in, basically because I’m a big Jack White fan. But, I’m not really sure I understand why the Stripes deserve to be inducted over any number of other bands, Maiden being one of them.
Speaking of Jack White…
We haven’t won a game 7 since 2002. I’m not feeling really confident watching this game right now. This feels more like a funeral party for their season.
Seen him a few times - although not this current tour, unfortunately. Always a great show. Enjoy!

Jack’s played Austin a ton. Our tix were steep, but we got killer seats, so all good. 
Last I saw Bruce Dickinson said something like they’ll not have mean in there even after I die, but Steve Harris has made more measured comments.
