This is “Bubamara” by Goran Bregović from the movie “Black Cat, White Cat” by Emir Kusturica (the video consists of outtakes from the film). The movie is an absolute hoot, and if you know a bit of the local folklore, you’ll enjoy it all the more.
To give you a little taste: the interlude with the pig eating the car. The car is a Trabant, which had bodywork made of wood pulp and resin. It was communism’s most proud automotive product. There are three of these interludes in the film, and each time more of the car has been eaten. Great allegory for the breakup of the eastern bloc, n’est-ce pas?
