Since there was no Live Hang on Zoom this month, @John_E and I decided to have one of our own: in 3D.
John was in Phoenix on business, and dropped by my house for a visit. We had a nice chat and even had a chance to noodle around in my studio. Here’s a pic of John and I with Sara, and one of John playing my Yamaha SLB300.
Sara made the tee shirts for me and John.
Awesome!
how awesome is that! Thx for sharing you guys
This is awesome.
Way to break the walls of the internet!
Also, good to hear from you @PamPurrs !
I hope things are going well out there for you and Sara!
Brilliant
That’s awesome. That bass look really tiny, I thought it’s a full scale, lol.
Here’s Nate next to it.
Big @John_E makes it look tiny. It IS actually full scale (identical to an acoustic upright).
I am sure there is something like this going on with @John_E
That’s just awesome! I hope you and Sara are doing well!
That’s awesome! Very cool that y’all were able to get together.
I’m sure you all had a great weekend,
Cheers Brian
Great to hear you got together! The T-Shirts are awesome, what a great gift.
I know I could use a good live hang right now, too!
Cheers,
Antonio
It’s very cool.
The very first thing I noticed is the neck is totally different and a bitch to get your hand around to fret all strings, requiring some contorting and reshaping of your hand which felt really odd and uncomfortable. But man o man does it sound so so good.
So… I just realized that Sara was able to make t-shirts on short notice for an impromptu get together, and we still don’t have official BassBuzz t-shirts. Or hoodies. Or hats.
Harumph, @JoshFossgreen, harumph.
Yeah, it’s like fingerboard’s extreme radius, lol.
If I can do it, you can do it with your big hands
If there’s enough interest, I can ask Sara for a price quote to make a batch of Bassbuzz shirts. But I’d need a commercial release from @JoshFossgreen for the use of the logo.
When do live hangs normally take place?
