Alnico vs Ceramic Pickups

Can somebody please tell me what the main differences are between Ceramic and Alnico pickups. I notice that a lot of high end basses seem to use Alnico.

Well what i’ve learnt is either me or the guy in the video can’t pronounce alnico. The guy in the video seems to have changed the spelling to alinco, or else I’ve got it wrong all these years

Well considering it’s an acronym of Aluminum, Nickel and Cobalt… it’s pretty unambiguous for spelling…
