I saw a clip the other day on YouTube which talked in part about a fully aluminium bass, I think from EGC.
Just wondered whether these aluminium bass are oddities or have their place for certain music?
What do people think?

Schecter has some Metal best Basses, I think the one I played was Steel, but may have been Alum, it was light. Certainly not solid, but it was not a hallow body style, more of a hard rock / metal style.
It was nice, but I have a bias towards Schecters, I have not picked up one that did not feel great.
