AM I TOO LATE TO JOIN THE PARTY

I’ve decided in my mid 60’s that I didn’t have enough frustration and challenges in my life so I decided why not learn to play an instrument. I picked up the guitar a few times throughout my life and owned a couple for brief periods throughout the past 50 years but spent more time (and longer periods of time) without then with and I never really got very good or even to where I could play whole songs. So why NOT try bass? LOL I’m a few months in and picking it up way faster than I thought I would and this course is making a huge difference. SOOO… I’m thinking of trying this 50/100 songs challenge although it might end up as a 50/200 weeks challenge. Are the songs in any order as far as easy to difficult? Thanks

I always get a chuckle when 60-something youngsters (I’m in my mid-70s) are worried about being too old. :guitar:

Ditto… I’ve never worried about “Age”… Actually, I do quite enjoy “Aging” though. I have so much fun getting away with a ton of stuff I couldn’t when I was younger… like - Pretending I’m hard of hearing…

I’m in my late 50’s. Just picked up my first bass today. You are never too old to learn. The only limiting factor may be physical restraints. Your fingers might get tired or you might get tired of the bass hanging in your shoulder, but I’m pretty sure you’ll have a ton of fun learning. Good luck!

Late 50’s and started about 9 months ago. B2B is the best way to start your bass journey!
