Hello, I use Amplitube to play in the evening from my sound card on headphones or to record via VST under Reaper.
I really like the Orange AD 200 in particular (well maybe very influenced by my style of music, more than by objectivity), I wanted to know if anyone had found great settings with amplitube and if they would like to share it!
I’ve been messing around with Amplitube for a few months now. I think I’m getting ok at creating tones I like but I feel like I’m barely scratching the surface in terms of understanding how to craft a tone.
I’d love it if there was an in depth tutorial somewhere.

I like my Orange Crush 100. The 1x15” speaker with front port really thumps. Also have the footswitch for it. It allows access to the Bi-amp built into the Orange. So it goes from clean bass to overdriven fuzz with a click. Great for practice. And good enough for local gigs. It’s heavy though! I have a 4-wheel cart to move it around. Yeah, I went with Orange partly because of my love of rock and psychedelic music. Also saw an interview with Ade Emsley, the lead designer at Orange Amplification. He’s the real deal. And it’s like he’s a character from Spinal Tap. Except he’s super smart not dumb like how Spinal Tap was portrayed.
