I’ve used it a lot for recording because it’s so convenient. I put the backing track on track 1 and then record on track 2. I save my recorded track and then import it into Reaper later. ![]()

So far my experience with AmpliTube has been great. There is a significant sound quality compared to GarageBand’s tones. And for someone like me who has actually never heard the real amps it’s really interesting , particularly how a specific bass sounds great on one amp and not on another.
The only problem I have encountered so far is an ocasional crackling noise during recording or playback. I also get a message quite often that a problem with a plugin was encountered asking to accept the repair. It does it and nothing gets lost.
