Anybody know where I can get custom handrests?

That’s why I was thinking it might be custom. The mounting edge/dog ears whatever you want to call them don’t look like anything else I’ve seen

Yeah. I use StewMac tape. Regular double sided tape might rip off the paint.

I have a sinking feeling it might be necessary to go the custom route - it’ll save some headaches if I can buy an off the shelf part tho’…

Might be able to find 1/16 inch flat stock already close to your size. Just need someone to bend it

Ya this, but if your Ric cover is already on then you already are ok with it.

I don’t normally like any of the metalic covers on bass over the pickups.
To me it seems to create more over/under/whatever tones from the magnetic field bouncing around that I don’t like one bit.

Bought one for my jazz bass and removed it the same day as I fitted it.
The only thing I found it useful for was a place to wedge my half smoked cigarette :wink:

Find a luthier in your area…most do custom work
