Art, miniature instruments, figurines and the like

I didn’t find a thread for this, so I decided to start one. Feel free to post here if you make, collect or just admire things like figurines (tiny statues of bands and musicians), miniature instruments, or other things like that.

I don’t currently have any miniatures, but I like and admire things like the following ones. Today I found in Instagram some videos from an Ukrainian artist, who makes figurines of musicians, and also very good miniatures of instruments.

Here is a video of a miniature he made of Schecter Simon Gallup Corsair Signature Bass Guitar. It looks so perfect!

Here’s a screenshot in case the link doesn’t work:

Right? It is so plucking awesome!

And he has made some incredible figurines. Here’s Robert Smith, with his Schecter signature guitar:

And a very realistic Nick Cave head:

Here are links to some videos from a British artist, who makes figurines of polymer clay. Check out her channel Clay Disarray. She has lots of videos of her creations, many of musicians and characters from movies and TV series.

There’s a guy on Facebook, Majestic “Cult Toys Factory” from South America who makes mostly Twin Peaks related figures and mini dioramas of scenes by hand, but does requests and did some Bowie stuff. I’ve got 3 of his figures, one a custom piece.

I love his signature on the pieces, not exact copies, but his art.

Wow! They are really nice!

I love Twin Peaks. Every time we watched the series I backed a cherry pie. That series begs for good coffee and cherry pie.

David Lynch was brilliant. I love most of his movies and series.

Same here. He was a really unique individual. His first film, Eraserhead in 1977, set the hook. And I stayed hooked.

This thread made me think of this video.

Ya I’m completely obsessed. I recently won his art tool bin when they auctioned off his belongings. Big fan of his art.
