Sure can.
You can plug your bass into pedals and then into the center jack if you like.
If your amp or pedal has an XLR line out, you can plug that into the mating connector on your Solo with the same looking cable. Mic cables work fine; there’s no difference.
Don’t plug the speaker output of your amp into the Solo. That will let the smoke out.
