Good shout.
Also, for those who plan to hunt bargains on Amazon, there is a service that shows the historical prices of products sold on Amazon.
You can just copy and paste links to amazon products into camelcamel search.
They also have browser plugins - whichever your preference for ease of use…
15% off Stew Mac tools until 1 Nov.
Dammit @Barney
You just cost me $48.87
@Barney is evil like that.
Here’s a bargain because it’s free. All you need to do is pretend you want to take courses at Berklee.
Interviews with bass players, interviews with instructors (yes, it has it’s promotional bits), course snippets, “How to Achieve a Jazz Sound on the
Electric Bass”, blah, blah, blah. 65 pages of bass. Print it out and kill a tree (thanks, work printer!) or read it online as a PDF - it’s your choice!
They also have a bunch of sample lessons on different subjects. I started the music theory and it hasn’t put me to sleep yet. It’s actually … fun.
“all designed to provide you with marketable skills in music”
If they are giving these skills away for free, why are they charging so much for the classes?

Pretty sure you’re not gonna be the next Jaco Pastorius by reading the free Berklee Bass Digital Handbook but hope springs eternal!

Well not with that attitude. Lol
Anyone that creative would do worse with that book, or Berklee for that matter.
David Lynch is very anti- formal education (and therapy for that matter) as he feels both disrupt the creative process.
There is a flash sale on Truefire:

Sweetwater has kicked off their Black Friday sales. I’m just sayin’.
lolwut? It’s 30 days early
They have a lot of Squiers to get rid of.
Don’t they always?
My wife is in merchandising and she said retailers are not waiting until Black Friday this year. They don’t have enough inventory for the hoards and can’t get a lot more so they are going to marketeer you out of your money early (to dump inventory that isn’t moving). They are also very worried folks aren’t going to spend a lot this year (and so they will capitalize on the first $$$ you have just in case).
Plugin sales are starting
iZotope’s Black Friday deals have kicked off with the usual 50-90% savings on their stuff.
All of MeldaProduction’s plugins are 50% off.
