Ouch, that sucks.
I still need to sell one more bass before I would pull the trigger, but if its up another week, I might fold.
Yeah, that is not a deal breaker. Easy enough to do.
I use DâAddario Hydrate on my fretboards, and I have brought some dry ones back to life with it.
That is in and of itself the very reason for G.A.S.

Their solid bodies are $4000 basses from what I saw on a few websites lol⌠oof.

That is no doubt amazing but⌠I just canât get past the Whale thing for basses with upper horns like that. Itâs even the right color 
Streams are about as whaley as I can get.

Well me either exceptâŚthis one isnât so much a whale thing as it is an upright on one side and an electric on the other, or at least thatâs how my brain is working around the whale thing.

Yeah, I would imagine the whale thing would make it feel funny to play the upper frets. Thumb placement would be odd.

This is something they stopped after version 1 and really bums me out that my Stingray V3 doesnât have them.
These (and the Stingrays) are super super rare.
Thatâs actually a good price.
