That rings true for me as well. I know I will be nailed to the cross for this, but I am not really a big fan of fender basses either. I respect the hell out of both men greatly, and what each has done or the world, but I have seen enuf of their instruments.
That Les Paul Bass, looks like some Other basses I have seen and like however, I like most of the shape.

the Fender vs Gibson war is something similar to the Nintendo vs Sega war in the 90’s, it looks passionate but it’s not a real thing, more a very long lasting joke … for real, eveyone plays with what he/she wants and that’s fine

no ! it’s a custom (one of a kind probably) Tele bass in the style of the Fender Cabronita guitar. that said, I own a Fender Cabronita

I like that. Tell is my favorite fender made. It’s the only Fender I have ever owned. I would love to have a tele shape bass like that. Awesome @terb
