If you don’t need a G string, you can tune a bass in BEAD and get a B string on a four string

Super nice.
I like when Fender goes outside their comfort zone and tries something different.

But yeah, that looks cool, just needs to lose a string, but it is really easy on the eyes.

But 3 single coils strat style pick ups(sort of, no slant pick up,)? Hmmm could be great. Could be horrid.

Probably make sure it is a standard single coil cavity or fits the pick ups you would replace them with.
But a set of 3 single coils? Can you get a neck middle and bridge set?
Can you just use a 2nd bridge pick up, or a single single coil in the middle of a neck and bridge set??

This is basically like my Lakland 55-02 where the bridge is two single coils you can voice either or both (humbucker). Maybe just fenders’s way of doing this. Not sure what the options are for the switch.

If I ever decide to upgrade my trbx604, an SR Premium is a very likely candidate. I’ve wanted an SR2400APL for a long time.
Price is reasonable for what you get, and just gorgeous. Unfortunately they almost never turn up used.

The higher end stuff from Ibanez is insane. So nice. It’s like something aliens would design, but like cool aliens, from Avatar. I can see them playing these.
