I just hope it’s still available. It was listed for about 6 hours before I saw it. It was later at night, so somebody may have already set up to get it today. That’s why I sent him a message saying I would bet the price,

Shipping can be reasonable, depending on how long you are willing to wait.
Here is an example. I love the Samick. It’s begging to be taken away. At that price, It may become my first P bass. With the pick guard, I don’t mind the black body. It was listed a while ago. So it’s probably gone. But if it’s not, I am on it. Heck, it could cost $100 to ship to you, and still be worth it.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Wow, looks good. I’d be happy waiting and/or paying for shipping to be honest. Be great to pick something up that’s got cool colours.
So how would we do this, would I use the app on my phone/pc and find what I want and then tell you, or is there a better way?
Also, my yamaha has just turned up, yay!

I am not sure the way you can search the apps in my area. Just pm me things for me to look out for, and I can send the pictures back thru PM.
I too look for colors, but somethings like the all black Sub Ray is too good for me to pass. If I get lucky and get it, I will look for an orange pick guard, or one of another available color.

Fender America is about 35-40 min away less traffic, it’s about 3 hours away in the afternoon evening.
Keisel, Schecter, Daisy Rock, all up in LA. There others are others not so far to the north (LA) and not so far to the south ( San Diego, and SD county) and even Fender Mexico is not more then a 2 hour drive, less border crossing times.
But Fender Mexico might be the only one mass producing, and they are a relatively small mass producer compared to the big big factories in China, Indo, Vietnam, Korea, Etc…

And - @Jamietashi, yes - the 8 string works like a 12 string guitar does.
The strings are right next to each other and tuned to octaves.
You play it the same way you would a 4 string, but you get 2 for the price of one for every note.
I fell in love with a 12 string at my local shop. This was after Pearl Jam’s ‘Ten’ came out, and all I ever wanted to do was play the intro and outro to ‘Jeremy’ on it.
I remember not being able to get my finger to cover all 3 of the strings I needed to.
Good times.

Funny enough an as far as I know, Fender never made a Telecaster-shaped bass (except the Squier VM, which is very cool but that’s not a Fender). The “Telecaster Bass” is in fact the early Precision Bass model.
