They’re really nice for the price. Built in a small batches in an English shop.
I had another Chowny model on order for many months. They were transitioning from an Indonesian manufacturer to England, and during lockdown. The logistics issues were lengthy, and I got tired of waiting, so I canceled the order. I’ve always admired their basses, though.

Not a bass, but still … I like when the Fender Custom Shop creates this kind of weird thing. Much more interesting than another relic’d reissue, in my opinion.

Same pickups (DiMarzio’s made specifically for Billy Sheehan). Still about $3500.
