Bass Porn

yeah, nah

Not a bass, but a pedal.

I have no idea what it does…but does it even matter?

It apparently makes espresso.

So there is that.

It slices! It dices! It causes a 100,000 light year-diameter quantum explosion!

It’s the OMEGAMETIC!

Could be a flux capacitor. Hit the pedal and then play 88 decibels and you’re gone

May the GAS be with you.

I’ll let John comment. No spoilers

I mean we all knew how this was going to play out

Your name came up a few times as we kept seeing these nice TRB-5 PII’s and Bacchus Woodlines!

Hah, yes, those are dangerously awesome! Would like to own one at some point, but really don’t need one… in fact, my recent Mayones is pretty much a Polish woodline

Yes your Mayones habit also came up

Except it’s so much more goodness.

Probably (price tag says so) - but I can’t say for sure until I get my hands on a Woodline

I’ll take that bet anytime.

C’mon Howard… not even a hint?

John is probably too busy trying to secure a container over in Chiba… for all the gear

Container?!

C’mon, man.

You know he’s working on commissioning an entire sea-worthy vessel, or two, to accommodate his brief shopping haul.

Will have to wait til back home as it’s all boxed up for the plane. It’s not anything Uber exciting though, quite restrained, but something I wanted for a while.

Some insane basses over here for sure and more stores that’s you can count. We had fun though. Thanks again @howard !

I did seriously consider this crazy rare Yamaha BJ-B5.
So rare @howard had never seen one before. There was actually another at a shop on the same street. But I really don’t need more than one 5.

SBV type body with thinnest longest headstock I’ve ever seen. Crazy cool but it stayed put. Cool to see it though.
