hmmm who could be interested in this? @howard
Oh sweet, a Viking in a 4-string variant! Cool. Hooky’s 6 never interested me.
I am impressed. I would love to try one out.
It will come in fretless too. Sire announced some cool instruments at NAMM
They sure did. Sire continues to innovate and exceed.
Very cool!
Is that a pair of humbuckers being used in ‘split-p’ format ?
What does that sound like ?
And I like the grooves in the knobs.
Here is the Duesenberg Bass I have. A Starplayer TV Mike Campbell version. It was originally going to be called the Cobra model after the AC Shelby Cobra car of the 60’s.
I love Rickenbacker basses. Wouldn’t dare try and play one, but they’re drop-dead gorgeous.
A colleague of mine just bought one. He brought it into the office a couple of weeks ago. If I’m honest, it was a bit of a case of don’t meet your heros… ok, it may be the way it had been set up, but I really didn’t like it
I gotta agree with you. I used to own a Rick 4001. It was…alright, but it didn’t make me tingly inside, which is a requirement if I’m going to keep a bass.
Damn, those sound amazing. Not at all surprised, though.
I was just watching this for the first time last night, what a killer instrument.
Those tuners look well neat! And I love that they specifically addressed neck dive.
