I am only thinking about it, I don’t really like buying from GC, even tho they have a good return policy. I just don’t like not seeing the thing first.

If it were local, I would go down and look at it right now.

If I were getting one it would definitely be a Bongo. Bongos just look extra badass.

I have a real love/hate thing with 'rays. I love their look, love their aggressive tone for a few specific styles of music, but just can’t buy in to the pricing of the EBMMs and literally laugh at the ridiculous price ramp for a vintage one, since that’s the opposite thing I would value in them anyway - I like them specifically because they are a great sounding, more modern bass, and actually value the fact that they aren’t a vintage sound, at all. To me, a vintage 'ray is just… old.

That reminds me, anyone ever try a Fleabass?
