Hmm. The guy selling the SBV-J1 now has it down in tempting pricing.
I donāt want a J but this is more or less the pinnacle of the SBV-500 style. I already own the pinnacle of the SBV-550 style so this isnāt super tempting for me but these are a really limited edition bass, only 100 exist.
I think the only one left on my must buy list is the SBV-J2 (the double-P version of the J1 there).

Iām really liking the look of these, and would really like to try one.
Just over Ā£200.
At one point, I had a Hagstrom semi hollow bass. It looked fantastic, but was a pig to play. Iād love to have a go on one of these to see how they playā¦

I picked up one of these off Reverb about 6 months ago. I was admittedly a little nervous because of the price point but I have zero regrets. It sounds great, is fun to play, and is even prettier in person.
