Man, now that’s a beauty that has a few million notes logged on it. It has sung all its life, but what outstanding stories it could tell.
love it
well except the whale part
It’s a bold design, for sure, even though I’m personally not one for fan frets or headless basses.
I don’t mind the single cut at all, though. It wouldn’t interfere with my playing.
I love that really minimalist look.
@MikeC I’m not taken with that at all, I would put that in the other thread.

Beauty is in the eye, and all that jazz.
While I would not buy it, I admire the highly stylized design of this unique single-cut.
I find it neither ugly nor a freak, but rather a piece of modern art. YMMV
I’m not even remotely interested in a 6-string bass, nor will I ever be, but this rug really ties the picture together. The TRB-JPII isn’t bad either ![]()
@Al1885 - do you have one of these? I know Jörg has a 5er.
The inlays are pretty nice actually:
No but I bet it would tie in perfectly with my basses too, ![]()
Yeah, a John Patucci signature to complement your Nathan Easts ![]()
Yeah I’ve been looking for a good deal on one. I’m not sure which one would show up first Myung’s Bongo or Patitucci Yammy.
That body shot is pure NSFW. So nice.
I was in Guildford (UK) this morning for a meeting. On the way home I stopped at Andertons
Oh boy…………
(I didn’t buy anything, I’ve kind’a spent the bass budget for the year already!)
Is that the 2025 budget spent? ![]()
Probably!! ![]()
Well, time to dig into that 2026 budget then ![]()
I recognised the shop at first sight !
Not only do they have great basses but they are also super nice
I bought a pedal when I visited them (I managed not to buy a sire U3 short scale)

Yes, very on the nose.
