It’s adorable they are selling these as a matched pair.
Unfortunately, I don’t want a SBV-500 because J/J (as I keep trying to tell myself), and while the SGV-700 is one of the best of the SGV’s I don’t really like the SGV sound so much, they are very very surf rock oriented.
On the other hand, if you want a surf guitar that isn’t a Telecaster, they are tough to beat.

He said in an interview that he plays non-Jazz Sire models at home, when he plays lines by other artists. Humbuckers are not his signature sound.
